FootballThe Franklin and Denmark football teams are “hungry “to play football to help the community. On Saturday, October 13, the two teams will play at West High School for the 5th annual Fight the Hunger event. There will be two football games played; the 7th grade game will begin at 4:15 p.m. and the 8th grade game will follow.  Franklin and Denmark will not only compete on the field, but the middle schools will also compete to win a food drive contest. Each school will have a bin set-up at the games for attendees to bring non-perishable food items to support the New Community Shelter.

In addition, Franklin and Denmark students will come together to share a combined team meal at Franklin Middle School at 3:30 p.m. on October 12. The Franklin football coaches will provide the food, along with an opportunity for the young men to bond and create positive memories off the playing field. Franklin Middle School is located at 1233 Lore Lane.
