Community Project
Tonight is the big night! Come join us tonight for the 8th grade community project exhibition from 5:30-6:30 in the Bistro to see all the awesome community projects our 8th graders have been working on all year. 

Cards Club
Do you want to learn how to play the card game, Rummy? The next Cards Club meeting will be Wednesday, May 8th after school until 3:45 in room 216. All are welcome to join.

Track
Yesterday, the 6th grade track team had their second meet. Good job to everyone who participated. Special recognition to Jasmine Hererra who placed 5th in the shot put and 7th in the high jump, Kylynn Stevens who placed 4th in the 800 meter run and 5th in the 200 meter run, Lamya Holiday who placed 7th in the 800 meter run, Jasmine Keomaniboth who placed 7th in the 200 meter run, and Nashon Burks who placed 5th in the discus. Their last meet will be next Wednesday. The 7th & 8th graders have a meet tomorrow right after school at West, we'd love to have you come and cheer us on! Track athletes, we have pictures tonight right after school in the big gym. Come dressed in your uniform.

LMC
The Library Media Center has a special announcement, thank you to all the students who entered the poetry contest. You all wrote some great poems but we had to pick the top three in each grade and it was very hard! The winners of the poetry contest are . . . 

6th grade

7th grade
