Chess Club
Chess Club meets tomorrow after school in room 111. If you like to play chess or you want to learn how to play, come to room 111 tomorrow after school, eat pizza and have fun playing chess with friends.

Fitness Club
Students, don’t forget, Fitness Club will meet right after school today by the small gym until 3:30

This is a reminder that there are Student Council meetings before school at 7:00, and after school at 2:45. Please make sure to attend one.

Battle of the Books
Battle teams, we have our next meeting today right after school. We will be taking a team picture. If you cannot attend, your team needs to schedule a time to meet with Mrs. Vraney this week. Don’t let your team down, your teammates are counting on you. Today’s meeting will end promptly at 3:30.

Goal 4: Quality Education
Did you know receiving an education is a privilege that all people are not given? Did you know that many people are denied an education as a way to control them? “Obtaining a quality education is the foundation to improving people’s lives and sustainable development.” Take a moment to think about your education and what you are doing to make sure you obtain a quality education so you have a foundation to improve your life. 
 
Goal 5: Gender Equity
We seek to ensure all people are represented and treated equally for education, health and employment no matter what gender affiliation that person identifies with. All people have the right to be treated equally by all. 
 
Goal 6: Clean Water & Sanitation
What do you think about when you turn on the water or take a drink from our bubblers? Do you waste water? Clean and accessible water for everyone is a goal we all need to strive for. There is enough fresh water on the planet for all of us if we take a pledge to use water wisely and share. Everyone’s life depends on this goal.
