Universal Children’s Day
Universal Children’s Day is a day recognized by the United Nations that honors children and what they contribute to our world. It is also a day to actively promote the safe welfare of the world’s children. According to Human Rights Education Association, children's rights cover four main aspects of a child's life: the right to survive; the right to develop; the right to be protected from harm; and the right to participate. These rights are not protected throughout the world. Take the time today to learn more about Universal Children’s Day and how you can help children throughout the world.
