Boys Basketball 
The 8th grade boys’ basketball team fought hard against Edison but came up short. The team is greatly improving each game. Leading scorers were: Julius Conner and Marlon Padilla. Other scoring contributors were: Damario Torres, Josh Pittman, Riley Goodletson, Frank Badillo-Beyer, Daniel Martinez, and Jon Barrett.

Coach Gus’ 7th grade boys team had a very awesome come back last night and defeated Edison 32-29. Leading all scorers was Jaysean Wright with 18 points and Rashad Rice put in 9 points. Chalie Adams hit three clutch free throws, and Charlie Kensmoe put in 2. Great game guys, keep up the good work!

The teams play again on Tuesday Nov. 27th against Pulaski.
  
Chess Club
Lombardi Middle School will be hosting a chess tournament on Saturday, December 1st. Anyone who likes to play chess is welcome to attend. Stop by room 111 or come to chess club to learn more about the tournament.
