IB Learner Profile Trait (Communicators) 
The IB learner profile trait for September is Communicators. We express ourselves confidently and creatively in more than one language and in many ways. We collaborate effectively, listening carefully to the perspectives of other individuals and groups. How will you express yourself confidently and creatively in classes this week?  In how many languages can you communicate with others? Could you teach other people how to say a few words in your languages? How can you listen better to understand someone else’s ideas? What can you do to collaborate with others and be a positive role model?

Co-Curricular Parent Meeting
There will be a parent meeting on the co-curricular code for Soccer, on September 4th at 5:00pm. September 5th, parent meetings for Volleyball at 4:30, and Football at 5:00.

Sports Contest
On Thursday, September 6th. we have our 1st sports game of the year as the Franklin Bobcat football team takes on Kewaunee at Franklin at 4:15. We wish the Bobcats the best and hope you have a big win at home.

Picture and IDs
Picture day for those student who have not yet been photographed, or would like to have their photos retaken for a fee of $5.00, will be on Thursday, September 18th. You will be called down by grade so please make sure to only come when your grade is called to make this process go smooth. The photographers will be here and ready to take pictures right at 7:45 so please make sure to be here on time. 

Volleyball
Attention all 7th and 8th grade girls interested in playing volleyball, you need to come to our first practice today, Sept. 4th at 2:50 in the big gym. Make sure all forms are turned in to the Main Office.

Soccer
Any 6th, 7th or 8th graders interested in playing soccer for Franklin, please meet in the Bistro today at 3pm for the first day of practice. If you cannot attend today, practice is from 3:00-4:30 on Wednesday.  The parent meeting is scheduled for 5pm tonight in the Bistro.
