Student Council
Welcome back to school! Student Council is excited to get started! All students are welcome to join! We will be planning the school dances and service projects, as well as other activities that students are interested in. We will be meeting September 7th at 7:05 or 2:45 in room 233! We will have treats!
Talent Show
The informational meeting is TODAY in room 180. Come to the meeting and sign up for an audition for the greatest show at Franklin!! All types of acts welcome. Some examples would be singing, dancing, comedy, playing your band or orchestra instrument, piano, guitar, the possibilities are endless. Come find out how you can be in the Franklin Talent Show after school tomorrow in room 180. See Ms. Giguere or Mrs. Rego with any questions. Don't miss your chance to be a star!
Sports Contest
On September 7th we have our 1st sports contest of the year as the Franklin Bobcat Footfall team takes on Kewaunee at Kewaunee. We wish the bobcats the best and hope you bring home a big win.
Picture and IDs
Picture Make up day will be Friday September 8th for those students who did not have their pictures taken yet. If you are interested in retakes, the cost is $5.00. Students will be called down by grade, so please make sure to only come when your grade is called to make this go smoothly. The photographers will be here early enough for staff to take pictures as well.
Stock the Box
Bring in your can goods and non- perishable foods! Student Council is working with West High School and the Green Bay Packers to Stock the Box against Hunger! Bring your food donations to your first hour teacher and enter your name to win an autograph Packer football helmet. The first hour that collects the most goods between September 11th and the 15th will also receive donuts!
Property
Students please make sure that you are walking on the sidewalk by door 18 and 19 as we have new grass planted there and need it to grow. Also, please don’t kick the doors as it is leaving marks on the doors.
6th Graders
Remember, you are required to select a fruit and a vegetable when going through the lunch line, whether you want it or not. Students who receive temporary IDs, will need to have their last name on the ID, this will help the cashier get the students through the line quicker.
