Chess Club
Chess club meets next Tuesday after school in the Bistro. That’s right, I said the Bistro and goes until 3:45. Come to the Bistro after school next Tuesday and learn more about chess club. You don’t need to know how to play chess to be a member. Everyone is welcome.

Homework Huddle
Students do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. 

Spirit Week
Franklin Middle School will be having a Spirit week to line up with West High School’s homecoming week, September 25th-29th! Each day will have a different dress theme and there will be competitions! Monday will be class color day. 6th graders wear yellow, 7th grade wear green, and eighth grade wear black. Check the posters for the other themes!

GSA Club
Would you like to be a part of continuing to make Franklin a great place to be? Come join us for our first Gay Straight Alliance meeting of this school year! See what we’re all about! IB Buzz
We will have our next meetings on Monday and Thursday of next week from 2:45-4:00pm. 

Family Night
Title VI Indian Education has their first family night on Tuesday, September, 26th,at Lombardi Middle School, at 5:30 pm. Hope to see you there. See Miss Carrie in room 221 if you have any questions.

Volleyball
Coach Zelzer’s 8th grade team came up short against Edison last night. There was great serving by Carly Kleiber, Vanessa Peterson, and Molly Jones. Good luck next week against Bayview.
