IB Learner Profile Trait (Communicators)
We express ourselves confidently and creatively in more than one language and in many ways. We collaborate effectively, listening carefully to the perspectives of other individuals and groups. How will you express yourself confidently and creatively in classes this week? In how many languages can you communicate with others? Could you teach other people how to say a few words in your languages? How can you listen better to understand someone else’s ideas? What can you do to collaborate with others and be a positive role model?
Homework Huddle
Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150.
Board Games
Board Game club is tonight after school in room 202 and goes until 3:45. Come to 202 after school to find out what Board Game Club is all about. Everyone is welcome.
Spirit Week
Franklin Middle School will be having a Spirit week to line up with West High School’s homecoming week, September 25th-29th! Each day will have a different dress theme and there will be competitions! Monday will be class color day. 6th graders wear yellow, 7th grade wear green, and eighth grade wear black. Tuesday will be Pink Out Day. Wear as much pink as you own! Wednesday is USA day, come to school decked out in red, white, and blue. Thursday is Hawaiian Day! Friday is school spirit day. Wear your Franklin, IB gear, or purple!
GSA Club
Would you like to be a part of continuing to make Franklin a great place to be? Come join us for our first Gay Straight Alliance meeting of the school year! See what we’re all about! Plan activities with us! We will meet in Room 219 Tuesday, September 26th, after school from 2:45-3:45. If you have any questions see Ms. Wolke or Ms. Zimmerman.
