IB Learner Profile Trait: Communicators
We express ourselves confidently and creatively in more than one language and in many ways. We collaborate effectively, listening carefully to the perspective of other individuals and groups. How can you listen better to understand someone else’s ideas?

Homework Huddle
Students do you need assistance with homework? The homework huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150.

Volleyball
Coach Casey’s 7th Grade Lady Bobcats won 4 of 5 games at home last night. They showed great sportsmanship and team play.  Top servers for our team were Jimena Robles and Justice Vang. Nice job Lady Bobcats!  Keep up the hard work.  See you at practice tonight! A huge shout out and big congratulations to all of Franklin's volleyball teams!! ALL 7th and 8th grade teams took home the win against Washington Middle School last night! Coach Porter, Veras, Hessler, and Zelzer and very proud of this BIG accomplishment! 

Congratulations to coach Porter's 7th grade team and their great work with top servers being Carly Kleiber, Alayna Bauguess, Gisselle Carranza, Shauna Dampier, and Myqueena Hall. Great work by all athletes! 

Congrats to Coach Zelzer's 8th grade team and playing hard for a win last night! Top servers were Madison Conley and MaKayla Bongxay. Top servers for Coach Danica's 8th grade team were Sky Genz and Kyia Macklin. Great teamwork by everyone!!!

Parking Lot
Students please walk in the parking lot and walk in the open areas. If you run out between cars it is not easy to see you and we want to make sure everyone is safe. Also please be sure to be walking on the sidewalks that are designed to cross the road.

Board Games
It’s starting, so put the date in your agenda. Next Monday after school is Board Games Club in room 202. That’s right, come and play games and have fun. That’s Monday the 19th, after school in room 202. Board Games Club. Come and see what it’s all about. Bring a friend. Everyone is welcome.

Soccer

The Franklin 6th soccer team played 2 very close games Wednesday and Thursday at home. Jose Tapia scored a goal on a penalty kick at Thursday night’s game. Both goalies Zach Loos and Arturo Ottum were outstanding when facing the other team. Riley Goodletson played an integral role as a core defenseman in both games. Come check out your bobcats on Monday the 19th at home at 3:45.
