Green Thumb Club
Have you ever wanted to learn to grow plants? Do you have a green thumb? If this sounds interesting to you, join us for an informational meeting on Thursday, October 6th at 2:50 in room 206. You might even get your hands dirty. If you can’t make the meeting, but are interested, talk with Mrs. Gilbride in room 206 before or after school. I look forward to working with you this year.
Walk to School Day
"Be healthy, help the earth and win prizes! Please join us in Walk to School Day on October 5th. There will be prizes for the students who participate, including T-shirts, Frisbees and sunglasses. Hope to see you walking or biking to school!"
Washington D.C. Trip
Attention 8th graders, you still have the chance to sign up at a discounted price for the Washington D.C. trip in June 2017. You will be getting information in your I&S classes. There will be a parent meeting about the trip on Tuesday, October 4th in room 227/229 at 6pm. Please bring your parent/guardian to the meeting to find out what it is all about. If you have questions see Miss Giguere in room 230.
Calling all Future Educators
Have you ever wanted to know what a teacher does all day? Are you thinking about a possible career in education? Would you like to volunteer in classrooms? A new club is forming at Franklin that allows you to have a front row seat to what a teacher’s job entails. If this sounds interesting come to our informational meeting Wednesday, October 5th at 7 a.m.in room 214. If you can’t make the meeting, but are interested please see either Mrs. Mellberg in room 214 or Mrs. Gilbride in room 206. We look forward to working with you this year!!
Future Leaders of America
Good morning Franklin Bobcats, today is your lucky day. Franklin is starting a brand new after school club called Future Leaders of America and you can be a part of it! If you enjoy making decisions, problem solving for a group, and taking risks, then you need to join this club.
