Book Fair
Students, there are only 2 more days left of the Book Fair! It’s also open during Parent/Teacher Conferences.  Be sure to make any purchases you want by tomorrow, we only have the Book Fair here one more day! Now for yesterday's winners of the "I Wish I Could Win" drawing, congratulations to Malia Doxtator and Carlos Gonzalez.

Board Games Club
Board Game Club is tomorrow after school in room 202. Everyone is welcome to come and have fun playing board games. 

Fall Social

The Halloween Social will be on October 26th from 3-5pm! There will be dancing, activities, a costume competition, and snacks. Buy tickets for $2, or two cans of food, during lunch starting today. Tickets are $3 on the 26th! Save money and buy early. You will need an ID to attend the dance. Don’t forget! Student Council will be having a costume competition during the fall social on October 26th. Students are welcome to dress up in any costume, acceptable for school, during the social. Costumes will not be allowed during the school day. Masks, weapons, painted faces, and costumes inappropriate for school will not be acceptable.

ID cards will be on sale Wednesday, October 18th through Thursday, October 26th for $3.00 in the Main Office. If you will be purchasing tickets for, or attending, the Social, you will need an ID card!

GSA
Our next Gay Straight Alliance Club meeting is Tuesday, October 24th, after school, in Room 219 from 2:45-3:45.  See what we’re all about and plan activities with us! If you have any questions, see Ms. Wolke or Ms. Zimmerman.

Homework Huddle
Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150.  There will be NO Homework Huddle tonight, October 18th, due to an all staff meeting.

Red Ribbon Week
Join GSA and Student Council in celebrating Red Ribbon Week, October 23rd-26th. Each day will be a different drug-free theme. Join us Monday in showing “I am awake to the dangers of drugs, just say no.” by wearing pajamas. Tuesday “Team up with us to be drug free” by wearing your favorite team jersey or clothing. During lunch, sign the pledge to be drug free. Wednesday, “Don’t get Mixed up with drugs” and show your best mismatching! On Thursday we will “Be our own heroes and say no to drugs” by dressing like a super hero. During lunch we will be making a healthy choice graffiti wall!

Show Choir
We had our first meeting for students interested in joining the Franklin Show Choir after school last night. If you missed that meeting and are interested in finding out what show choir is all about, stop by Mrs. Rego’s room today, that’s room 180, and get the information. Our first practice is next Tuesday so please stop today if you need the forms. 

Title VI Indian Education
Title VI Indian Education will have a family night at Nicolet Elementary School on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:00-7:00. Hope to see you there. If you have any questions please see Ms. Carrie in Rm. 221.
