Chess Club
Chess club is next Tuesday in the Bistro right after school until 3:45. Bring a friend have some fun learning how to play chess. Hot pizza will be served.

Board Games
Board Game Club is after school in room 202 today. Bring a friend and have fun playing board games. See you there.

Chess Tournament
The WSCF is holding a chess tournament on Saturday, December 2nd at Lombardi. See Ms. Agard or stop by Chess Club for more information. 

Hour of Code
Do you like coding? Then you may want to attend the Hour of Code Event on Wednesday December 6th in the Library Media Center after school from 2:45-3:45pm. Students can get permission slips in the Library Media Center. Permission slip is due by Friday, December 1st. 

Open Gym for Basketball /Touch Football
There is no open gym for basketball until further notice. Also, there is no football on the front lawn until further notice as well. 

Property

Students please be respectful to the school, neighbors and business property in our area. Please throw your trash in the containers provided.

Holiday Grams
Student Council will be selling holiday candy grams December 4th - December 15th during all lunch hours. Choose snowman, hot chocolate or penguin suckers to send to yourself or a friend! Suckers will be 1 for $.75 or 2 for $1.00. Gift tags will be available to write a note!

Homework Huddle

Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on. Also, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.  

7/8th Grade Boys Basketball
Coach Gus’ 7th grade boys’ basketball team had a very, very, exciting game last night against Red Smith. The final score was Red Smith 42 Franklin 41. It was a great battle and both teams did an awesome job. Scoring points for the Bobcats were Jacob Sanders with 14, Marlon Padilla with 9, Aiden Coronado with 6, Chad Brown added 5, Logan Hegnet put in 3, and Sean Adams and Damario Torres each scored 2 point. Great job by everyone!

The 8th grade boys’ basketball team went one for two against Red Smith last night.  The team moved the ball well and everyone had great teamwork and contributed to the win. Top scorers were: Detavious Ollie, Andrew Hale, and Fernando Nieves Sanabria. 

PBIS Reminders
All outerwear including gloves, mittens, hats, scarves and jackets need to remain in your locker throughout the school day. Also, all electronic devices and their accessories, including headphones, need to be kept in your locker. Even if your head phones aren’t plugged in to anything, we should not see them. 

POPS
POPS is today during lunch in room 202. Bring your lunch and enjoy POPS.
