IB Learner Profile Trait (Risk-Takers) 
We approach uncertainty with forethought and determination; we work independently and cooperatively to explore new ideas and innovative strategies. We are resourceful and resilient in the face of challenges and change. How can you be a responsible and positive risk-taker this week and meet someone new at school? Do you keep working through a project even when it is challenging? Do you take a risk and ask for help?

Universal Children’s Day
Today is Universal Children’s Day, it is a day recognized by the United Nations that honors children and what they contribute to our world. It is also a day to actively promote the safe welfare of the world’s children. According to Human Rights Education Association, children's rights cover four main aspects of a child's life: the right to survive; the right to develop; the right to be protected from harm; and the right to participate. These rights are not protected throughout the world. Take the time today to learn more about Universal Children’s Day and how you can help children throughout the world. 

Chess Club & Board Game Club
Chess Club is tomorrow in the Bistro right after school until 3:45. Bring a friend have some fun learning how to play chess. Hot pizza will be served

Board Game Club is after school in room 202 on Wednesday until 3:45. Bring a friend and have fun playing board games. See you there.

All students who attend Chess Club and Board Game Club, today is the big day. Meet in the big gym right after school for the yearbook photo, see you after school.

Chess Tournament
The WSCF is holding a chess tournament on Saturday, December 2nd at Lombardi. See Ms. Agard or stop by chess club for more information. 

GSA
Our next Gay Straight Alliance Club meeting is today after school in Room 219 from 2:45-3:45. We have Activity/Club pictures today. If you have any questions see Ms. Wolke or Ms. Zimmerman.

Homework Huddle
Students do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. The electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.  

Hour of Code
Do you like coding? Then you may want to attend the Hour of Code Event on Wednesday December 6th in the Library Media Center after school from 2:45-3:45pm. Students can get permission slips in the Library Media Center. Permission slips are due by Friday, December 1st. 

Open Gym for Basketball /Touch Football
There is no open gym for basketball until further notice. Also, there is no football on the front lawn until further notice as well. 

Title VI Indian Education
Title VI Indian Education will meet after school today in room 221. See you there!

LMC Trivia
The LMC trivia question for last week was: What weather tool is used to measure air pressure? The answer is a barometer and the winner, Hope Villiesse. Congratulations Hope! You can come to the LMC to claim your prize!

The question for this week is: Which American city hosts the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? Remember you can stop in before school, before lunch, or after school to use the computer to find the answer. Stop in the LMC and try to win the trivia this week!
