IB Learner Profile Trait (Risk-Takers)
We approach uncertainty with forethought and determination: we work independently and cooperatively to explore new ideas and innovative strategies. Do you keep working through a project even when it is challenging? Do you take a risk and ask for help?

Ally Week
Good morning Franklin staff and students, did you know, GLSEN's 2013 National School Climate Survey found that experiencing harassment or being victimized negatively affects a student’s well-being. They may have a lower GPA, lower self-esteem, and are less likely to plan to go to college. An important fact about being an ally, you can’t be an ally in isolation. It’s important to engage yourself with the individuals you want to ally with as well as other allies. This holds you accountable and strengthens your commitment of being an ally. If you would like to learn more about being an ally, join us at our next GSA Club meeting the Wednesday after Thanksgiving Break, December 7th in Room 219 after school from 2:45-3:45. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Gomez.
