IB Learner Profile Trait
The IB learner profile trait for November is Risk Takers. We approach uncertainty with forethought and determination; we work independently and cooperatively to explore new ideas and innovative strategies. We are resourceful and resilient in the face of challenges and change. How can you be a responsible, positive risk-taker this week and learn something new? How can you be a responsible and positive risk-taker this week and meet someone new at school? Do you keep working through a project even when it is challenging? Do you take a risk and ask for help?

The question for this week is: What was the Hindenburg?

Show Choir
All members of the Franklin Show Choir need to stop and see Mrs. Rego today before you go home. She has all of the permission slips for the parade this weekend, and if you get them today you can bring your signed permission slips to practice tomorrow after school. Tomorrow’s practice is very important as we will be recording our song for the parade this weekend. Please be at practice tomorrow on time, and please stop and see Mrs. Rego before you go home today so you can get all of your parade information for your parents to see and sign tonight.

John Dewey Academy of Learning
The John Dewey Academy of Learning is having an event night for 6th-8th grade students to come and see if they would be interested in project based learning. If you are a student that is interested, the event is Thursday, November 15th from 5-7.
