IB Learner Profile Trait (Balanced)
We understand the importance of balancing different aspects of our lives-intellectual, physical and emotional- to achieve well-being for ourselves and others. We recognize our interdependence with other people and with the world in which we live. Challenge yourself this week to notice how much we all depend on each other and how important each person is in our lives.

Gay Straight Alliance Club
Come and join us Wednesday, May 10th after school in Room 219!  Be a part of our last couple of meetings as we celebrate this year and plan for next! Please see Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Wolke with any questions.

Softball
Monday night, Franklin Softball played their first games against Edison. All of the girls worked hard and took risks playing new positions! Way to go ladies! The makeup games for Thursday have been cancelled again Thursday's games have been cancelled. 

Chess Club
Chess Club is this Monday after school in room 202. Hope to see you there. Bring a friend and enjoy some hot pizza!

Board Games Club
Board Game Club is next Monday after school in room 202. Bring a friend and have fun playing board games while enjoying some hot pizza.

Bike to School Day
If you biked or walked to school yesterday, enter your name in the raffle box at lunchtime! There will be a raffle box in the bistro and all you have to do is write your name down and put it in the raffle box to win! Winners of the raffle could receive water bottles, tattoos, bike helmets, and one lucky person will even win a brand new bike! So if you participated in Bike to School day yesterday, enter your name at lunchtime! Any questions, please ask Ms. McKeefry or Ms. Roubal. 

Hat Day
Hat Day is TODAY!  Buy your sticker from your 1st hour teacher for just 5 Bobcat Bucks.  Stickers need to visible and hoods don’t count.  Thank you!

Combined Choir & Band Rehearsals

A reminder that 8th grade band has their combined band rehearsal right now during 1st hour today. Please report to the band room immediately.

Also, a reminder that 6th grade band has their combined band rehearsal during 7th hour today. All 6th grade band students should report to the band room immediately after 6th hour.

PBIS Caught being Kind
The following people have been caught doing something kind: Kaylee Kornowski, Shania Kingbird, Alondra Del Rio Avina, Britney Kong, Camille Romans, Ms. Mattek, Chris Bustamante, Aurelia Sanchez, Emma Raeder, and Joel Rohr.  Please stop up to room 308 right away for a sweet treat!
