Book Fair 
The Book Fair starts today! It’s also open during parent/teacher conferences. Be sure to make any purchases you want by this Thursday, we only have the Book Fair here this one week.

At Hope Basketball
Do you like basketball, but have limited experience? Are you looking for something to do with your friends on Saturday mornings?  If you answered "yes" to either of these questions, At Hope Basketball is just the program for you. It is a 5-week clinic held at West High School that will help you improve your basketball and social skills. The best part about it is that it is free!  If you are interested, please come to the main office for more information.

Autism Awareness
Students and staff did you know that April is Autism Awareness month? Franklin is partnering with 13 other Green Bay schools to raise awareness of autism. Items will be available for order as a way to raise money for the Autism Society of Northeast Wisconsin and students with autism here at Franklin. You can order a short or long sleeve t-shirt, draw string bag, or water bottle to show your support. Order forms will be available in the office. Orders and money are due Friday, March 9th, no late orders will be accepted.

Chess Club
Chess Club is today in room 202 right after school until 3:45. You do not need to know how to play chess in order to participate. Bring a friend have some fun learning how to play chess. Hot pizza will be served. The next chess tournament will be this Saturday at Baird Elementary. Stop by room 202 to get more information.

Gay Straight Alliance Club

Our next meeting is Tuesday, March 6th after school in Room 219.  Come and join us in a judgment free zone for all! Please see Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Wolke with any questions.

Homework Huddle
Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on. Please remember, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.   

LMC Trivia

The LMC trivia question for last week was:  Who was the first African American athlete to play Major League Baseball in the 20th century? The answer is Jackie Robinson and the winner is Ramona Boyd.  Congratulations Ramona!  You can come to the LMC to claim your prize!  The question for this week is:  What document begins with “Four score and seven years ago”?   Again, what document begins with “Four score and seven years ago”?  

Solo & Ensemble
Congratulations to all 40 students who participated in this past Saturday’s Solo and Ensemble event at Preble High School. The event was a great success! Thank you for all of your hard work to go perform for a judge!
