IB Learner Profile Trait (Thinkers)
We use critical and creative thinking skills to analyze and take responsible action on complex problems. We exercise initiative in making reasoned, ethical decisions. This week, challenge yourself to think critically and creatively in your classes.

Lunch Collection
Today, and the rest of the week, at lunch three of your classmates will be collecting data of trash and food waste. Please help us by sorting what you toss in the garbage cans, and place them in the correct bins. We will have bins for trash and bins for food waste. 

Theater Tech Club
Theater Tech Club is beginning again! We will have a beginning meeting today from 2:45-3:30 in order to begin preparing for the Franklin Musical. Please come to the band room at 2:45 today.

WPS Art Show
Attention art students who were selected for the Wisconsin Public Service Art Show, please return the bottom of your invitation to Ms. Everetts or Ms. Gronke. For planning purposes, WPS needs to know the number of persons attending the March 7th Fine Arts Reception.Blue slips are due to your art teacher by Thursday, March 2nd. 

Wrestling News
Franklin had a very successful wrestling meet against Bay View and Luxemburg-Casco last night. Wrestlers notching victories include: DAndre Mixon with a score of 6-4, Issac Wery with a score of 2-0, and Devin Ross with a score of 7-2.  Exzavion Shepard had two wins with scores of 6-4 and 8-0. Desiree Mixon notched three victories with scores of 6-0, 2-1, and 10-0. Fernando Sanabria- Nieves also had three wins with scores of 2-0, 4-2, and 11-1. Great job all wrestlers! Our Franklin wrestling team has their final meet of the season next week Tuesday against Red Smith.

Basketball games tonight
Tonight our 6th grade basketball teams play Washington at 3:30. Doors open at 3:15. Remember, no food or drinks in the gym, if you leave you can’t return. Please no negative comments towards players, coaches, or officials. Any swearing in the stands, you will be removed, no exceptions! Finally, receiving multiple referrals, serving after school detention will exclude you from the game. 

News from the Book Fair
Our lucky winners at the Book Fair yesterday were Leilani Thompson and Kennedy Miller. Congratulations Leilani and Kennedy! Stop at the fair for your book if you haven't yet. Also tomorrow is the last day of the Book Fair! Bring your parent or guardian to the fair during conferences tomorrow night.
