IB Learner Profile Trait (Thinkers) 
We use critical and creative thinking skills to analyze and take responsible action on complex problems. We exercise initiative in making reasoned, ethical decisions. This week, challenge yourself to think critically and creatively in your classes. This week, challenge yourself to analyze a problem and take responsible action to solve the problem. Do you think before you act in class, in the hallways, outside of school? 

Homework Huddle

Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on. Please remember, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.  

Chess Club

Chess Club is tomorrow in the Bistro right after school until 3:45. Bring a friend have some fun learning how to play chess. Hot pizza will be served

Board Games Club
Board Game Club is after school in room 202 this Thursday, after school in room 202 until 3:45. Bring a friend and have fun playing board games. Hot pizza will be served.

LMC Trivia

The LMC trivia question for last week was: What document begins with “Four score and seven years ago”?  The answer is the Gettysburg Address and the winner is Savannah Williams. Congratulations Savannah, you can come to the LMC to claim your prize.

The question for this week is: What female women’s rights activist is on a dollar coin from 1979? Again, what female women’s rights activist is on a dollar coin from 1979?  

Softball

Any girls interested in playing softball for Franklin, please come to one of our informational meetings on March 15th or March 27th from 2:45-3:00 in the Bistro. We look forward to seeing you.

Student Council
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Pennies for Patients competition! The competition ended on March 2nd and Student Council is excited to announce our final winners! In first place, with #234.48, and the winners of the Olive Garden lunch is…. Ms. Ericksen’s 4th hour class!! Congratulations!! In close second place is Ms. Gillis’ 1st hour class with $215.20, and they will win a pizza party. Third place goes to Ms. Weller’s 2nd hour class. Student Council will be reaching out to these classes soon about your prizes. Together, we can sting cancer! As a school we raised over $1,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Awesome job!!
