Homework Huddle
Homework Huddle is open for two more days, Monday, June 4th and Tuesday, June 5th from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on. In addition, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.
8th Grade Students
Attention 8th graders, if you are planning to participate in a sport or activity at West next year, you must attend a co-curricular code meeting. Mark your calendar for June 5th at 5:30 pm, in the West High auditorium. Please bring a parent.
Golf at West
Attention all 8th grade boys interested in playing golf next spring at West High School, there is a sign up form available in the main office at Franklin for anyone interested in joining. No prior golf experience is necessary to join the team. We will provide equipment for those who need to use it as well as transportation to and from practice and matches. Boys of all skill levels are encouraged to join. Bring a friend and sign up to play golf next year.
Soccer
Any current 6th or 7th grade students interested in playing soccer in the fall please join Coach Iles and Coach Cornelissen for a quick informational meeting on Tuesday June 5th at 3pm in the Bistro. If you are unable to attend, please see one of us for information.
West Volleyball
Attention 8th grade girls who plan to play volleyball at West next year, there will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, June 5th in the West High Thune Center at 5 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
Board Game Club
The final Board Game Club is after school in room 202 next Thursday until 3:45. Bring a friend and have fun playing board games. See you there.
Chess Club
Chess Club is next Tuesday in room 202 right after school until 3:45. This will be the annual tournament to determine the chess champion of 2017-2018. Club may run until 4:30 so be ready to play.
Softball
Congrats Franklin softball team for a great season. We ended last night with two great games against Edison. Even with a loss, the girls played hard until the end. Many great plays were made by the whole team including Kenya having an amazing catch in the outfield to end an inning. Nice hits coming from Alayna, Kenadie, Skylar, Jemelyia, and a triple from Paityn. Thanks for a great season girls. From coach Iles and Porter.
