Battle of the Books
Battle teams, we will have a meeting right after school on Wednesday, January 10th so we can get a club picture for the yearbook. If your team can stay we will take some team practice quizzes online. The meeting will end promptly at 3:30. Check your school email for details.
Gay Straight Alliance Club

Beauty and the Beast
This year the Franklin Theater department is proud to present the musical Beauty and the Beast as our 2018 musical. We are very excited to put on a show of this caliber and need many of you to be a part of the show. If you are interested in being a part of the cast, stage crew, sound crew or design crew you need to attend our informational meeting on Monday, January 7th in room 180 from 2:50-3:30. Attendance at the meeting is very important as we will go over the roles that we are looking for and how you can join our amazing cast and crew. If you have any questions before this meeting, please see Mrs. Rego in room 180 or Ms. Mattek in room 238. We are looking forward to seeing you at our organizational meeting net Monday!
Chess Tournament
Don’t forget the WSCF Chess Tournament tomorrow at Preble High School. Come and have fun playing chess in a tournament. Hope to see you there.
PBIS
Thank you to all students who collected 10 stickers on their salmon sticker sheet from before winter break. We have selected 30 students to win a prize pack compliments of PBIS. Over the next week, you will hear names called during announcements. Please report to room 308, Mrs. Fiestedt, right after announcements to claim your prize. Today’s winners are: Madi LaRock, YongYea Vang, Tayllor Burfiend, Salina Yang, Ryan Mura, Octavia Motley, Miraim Garza, Hua Xiong, JaMayah Booth, and Tyson Torres. Congratulations!
