IB Learner Profile Trait (Open-minded) 
We critically appreciate our own cultures and personal histories, as well as the values and traditions of others. Hopefully we are accepting of other points of view, and willing to grow from the experience. Do you appreciate your culture and traditions? Are you open to hearing about other cultures and traditions that may be different than yours? How do you handle points of view that are different than yours? Do you listen actively and grow from the experience?

Wrestling
Ok, this is enough already. I am getting tired of hearing about the Franklin wrestling team. Just a few more announcements until the big day. Pack your duffel for the first day of wrestling practice.

IB Buzz
IB Buzz Team, we have a meeting this Thursday, January 4th at 2:45 to 3:45 pm.  

LMC Trivia
The answer is Benjamin Franklin and the winner is Isis Sorto, congratulations Isis! You can come to the LMC to claim your prize. The question for this week is, what fictional city is the home of Batman? Remember, you can stop in the LMC before school, before lunch, or after school to use the computer to find the answer. Stop in the LMC and try to win the trivia this week!

Chess Club
Chess Club is today in the Bistro, right after school until 3:45. You do not need to know how to play chess to participate. Bring a friend have some fun learning how to play chess. Hot pizza will be served

Chess Tournament
The next WSCF Chess Tournament is on Saturday, January 6th, at Preble High School. Come and have fun playing chess in a tournament. See Ms. Agard in room 202 or stop by Chess Club after school in the Bistro for more information.

Homework Huddle
Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on.  Also, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.
