Board Games and Chess Club
Board Games Club and Chess Club are TODAY after school in room 202. That’s right, today. Chess Club was going to be on Wednesday, but has been rescheduled for today. Come and have some fun playing board games and chess. And as always, enjoy a slice of hot pizza.

Chess Tournament
Washington Middle School will be hosting a chess tournament this Saturday and everyone is welcome. Contact Ms. Agard in room 202 to learn more about the upcoming chess tournament taking place at Washing tom Middle School.

Battle of the Books
Attention all Battle of the Books teams, our first competition is this Wednesday, January 25, right after school in the LMC. We will finish by 3:45.  

7th grade Book Club
Attention all 7th grade Book Club members, if you have a nook, please bring it to Mrs. Vraney ASAP so she can add our next book. If you don’t have a nook, please come to the LMC to pick up a paper copy.

CrossFit
Just a reminder that Franklin Fitness is still going on every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school from 3-3:30. We meet either in between the gyms or in the small gym/workout room. We promise 30 minutes of intense workout each time-with a lot of variations....focusing on arms, legs, core, cardio, or some combination. We have an awesome group of athletes right now, but it would be great to see even more students involved. This is the perfect opportunity to get in shape during this cold winter weather. See Mrs. Srenaski or Ms. Pasch if you are interested or just show up!

Gay Straight Alliance Club
Come and join us today, Wednesday, January 25th after school in Room 219! We are ready to plan our next GSA activity! Please see Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Gomez with any questions.

LMC Trivia
The trivia question from last week was: What is the name of the world's largest rainforest? The answer is “The Amazon” and the winner is Cilivea Thyrion. Please come to the LMC and claim your prize.  

The question for this week is: Which presidents face is printed on a dime? Good Luck!

Supplies Needed
One of our IB groups is making chew toys for the Humane Society. They are in need of materials to make their toys. Preferably denim would be best but if you have anything that would be tough enough for chew toys we will take it. Please bring any old jeans or material to Room 310. Thank you!

Troyette Clinic

Any girls interested in a Pom clinic that will perform at half time of the Girls Varsity Basketball game at Southwest High School with the Troyette’s, please come to the main office to pick up a flyer.

Show Choir
Show choir members, this is a reminder that we will finally get back to our regular schedule tomorrow and we have a very important practice. Our choreographers will be her tomorrow to teach us our next dance. Please be on time to practice and see Mrs. Rego if you have any questions.

Musical
Tonight is the night for our informational meeting about this year's musical The Little Mermaid. Please report to the auditorium right after school today for our informational meeting. This is your opportunity to sign up to be a part of this amazing event, and to ask any questions you may have. This meeting is for everyone interested in any part of this production including singers, actors, dancers, stage crew and tech crew. See Mrs. Rego or Ms. Mattek with any questions.

Girls’ Basketball Team
We have a home game tonight against Red Smith starting at 3:45. Students please make sure to exit the building and re-enter through door 4 it will open at 3:30.
