Chess
Congratulations to those students who attended the Washington Middle School chess tournament this past Saturday. You represented Franklin Middle School with pride. This Saturday is the Northeast Grade Level Championships Chess Tournament on the UW-Green Bay Campus. Play against others in your grade level and have fun this Saturday at UW-Green Bay. See Ms. Agard in room 111 for more information.
Garden Club

Student Council Social
The Valentine Social will be on February 15th from 3-5pm! There will be dancing, ping pong, Wii, and snacks. Don’t forget money for concessions! No tickets will be needed to attend the social but you will need an ID that shows your picture! Wear red or pink in honor of Valentine’s Day. Anyone wearing red or pink will be entered in a raffle for a free concession item! Hope to see you there! Don’t forget doors close at 3:30pm and you won’t be allowed in the social after doors close!
IDs will be on sale for $3 in the Main Office from February 4th- February 15th!
Basketball
All 6th grade boys interested in playing basketball for Franklin this year must have all office forms filled out and attend a mandatory meeting in the Bistro from 2:45-3:00 Thursday February 14th. The parent meeting will be February 18th after practice from 4:30-5:00. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity.
Fitness Club

Mary Poppins
Tonight is the night for Mary Poppins auditions! Everyone needs to attend, all lead and supporting roles will be cast tonight. If you have an issue with this audition time, please see Mrs. Rego or Ms. Mattek before you leave school today! Break a leg everyone‼ (that is showbiz talk for good luck) We will have any call back auditions on Wednesday after school, and Thursday we will assign all of the parts and read through the play. This is the first rehearsal and all crew members need to attend this along with all actors.
