Homework Huddle
Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on. Please remember, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.
Student Council - Pennies for Patients
Approximately every 3 minutes one person in the United States (US) is diagnosed with a blood cancer. You can help by bringing in money for Pennies for Patients. Each math class will be competing to raise the most money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Not only can you help victims of blood cancers, but you can win an Olive Garden lunch, donuts, chips, or other cool prizes!
Socks 4 Kidz
Did you know that the items homeless people need most are socks? Help support this cause by donating socks from February 15-23rd. A bucket labeled Socks for Kidz can be found in the bistro. Please consider putting socks in the box!
Book Donations
Please sure to continue to donate your gently used books for a great cause. Drop off will be at the front desk.
Show Choir
All members of Show Choir need to see Mrs. Rego today to get your new end of our year schedule. We have to add a rehearsal due to our ice day this week. Please see her before you go home today as there are changes for Monday’s concert rehearsal.
Pops Concert
Franklin staff and students, you are formally invited to come to our Franklin Pops Concert next Monday night, February 26th. This is a show put on by the Franklin Jazz Band and Show Choir. We are preparing for our solo ensemble experience, so come on out and give us a great audience. The concert is Monday, February 26th at 7:00. We should be done by 7:45. We hope to see you there!
Memory Book Staff
We are looking for students interested in helping create the Franklin Memory Book. We will have meetings this coming week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the LMC. The meetings begin at 2:50 and go until 3:30. Please attend one or all days. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Mathu or Ms. Giguere.
There are just a few more days left in the Memory Book Sale, so please return your order envelope and payment to your science teachers by February 26th.
