IB Learner Profile Trait (Caring) 
We show empathy, compassion and respect. We have a commitment to service, and we act to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in the world around us. Are you a person that shows empathy, compassion and respect to all people? How can you make a positive difference in someone’s life this week? How can you make a positive difference in your community?

Art Club

Art Club is Thursday this week from 3:00 to 4:00 in room 207. Join Ms. Gronke and Ms. Mach and make some fun projects after school and socialize with friends! You do not have to be in art to be a part of Art Club! 

Student Apparel

Any student interested in purchasing school apparel, please be sure to stop in the office to pick up an order form. You can also pick a sheet up in the lunch room. Orders must be turned in by Tuesday, Feb. 20th.

Book Drive
Franklin students, we need your help! Do you have books you’ve read and no longer need? Are they still in good shape? If so, we would like them! Please donate any gently used books you have. We want your books to help students in need. You can drop your books off at the front desk. Thanks for your help! Kristy Thurlow Chris Baierl.

Chess Club
Chess Club is today in room 202, NOT the Bistro. Yes, your request has been granted, Chess Club is in room 202 today right after school until 3:45. You do not need to know how to play chess in order to participate. Bring a friend and have some fun learning how to play chess. Hot pizza will be served.

Battle of the Books 
Battle of the Books has the last round of competition tomorrow, February 14th, for all teams. The competition starts right after school. 

Homework Huddle
Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on. Please remember, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.  

Show Choir

This is a reminder that we have a very important rehearsal for Show Choir tonight. This is our last rehearsal before our WI Singer concert on Friday. Do not miss this practice. See Mrs. Rego if you have any questions.  

Girls’ Basketball
The 7th grade basketball team finished their season last night against Bay View and came up a little short. Scoring points in game 2 were Ashaunte Williams with 14 points, Jamayah Booth with 4, and Brianna Ortiz with 3. Great job everyone! Coach Gus and Coach Thomas would lie to thank the following girls for a great season: Ja’Maya Booth, Olivia Holland, Tyra King, Tonya Mauritz, Brianna Ortiz, Iyanah Pryor, Maritza Lopez, Kailey Mayer, Piper Mehling, Kiearra Hawkins, Amy Vang, Nadia Thao, and Ashaunte Williams.

Hat Day
Wishing your head were warmer throughout the school day? Well, you’re in luck! This Friday is Hat day! Because we are working on showing empathy this month you can wear your hat for just 5 Bobcat Bucks! Get a sticker from your 1st hour teacher. No hoods please.
