IB Learner Profile Trait
The IB learner profile trait for December is Reflective. We thoughtfully consider the world and our own ideas and experience. We work to understand our strengths and weaknesses in order to support our learning and personal development. Do you reflect on your day and wonder how you could have improved what you did today?  Reflection is a great way to grow and be open to new ideas. Reflection helps us to become better people. Do you honor your strengths and acknowledge your weakness in all your classes so you can grow in each subject?

Holly grams
Student Council is selling Holly grams during the lunch hours! Suckers are for sale for $1 and candy canes are 2 for $1.

GSA
See you next Thursday, December 20th, after school in The Project Room, Room 227 for our next GSA meeting! Please see Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Wolke with any questions.

Girls Basketball
All 7th and 8th grade girls interested in playing basketball this year, there is a mandatory meeting after school on Tuesday, December 18th in the Bistro. The meeting will last from 2:50 – 3:00. You must come if you want to play.

Jazz Band/Pep Band
Jazz Band and Pep Band members that tonight’s rehearsals have been cancelled because Mr. Baker is out sick. Jazz Band and Pep Band have been cancelled tonight. Also a reminder to all Pep Band students to wear your purple band shirt tomorrow.

Franklin Carolers
If you are a member of the Franklin Christmas Carol group, you need to attend a short rehearsal tonight after school. We will be meeting in Mrs. Rego’s room from 2:50-3:45. Please see her before you leave school today if you are not able to make the practice. If you did not bring your permission slip back to her yet and you are still planning on being a part of this group, you do need to attend tonight’s practice. 

Show Choir
Members of the Franklin Show Choir, this is your reminder about our celebration tomorrow after school. You are welcome to bring a treat to share with the group. We will be meeting from 2:50 – 3:30. If you were planning to bring a treat, you can drop it in Mrs. Rego’s room tomorrow morning. 

National History Day
This is a reminder that National History Day is meeting today, after school, in Ms. Linna’s room 232. If you cannot make it, please make sure to touch base with your group members to divide up your research. Project building begins when we return after break. 

6th Grade Transition Night
Any WEB leaders who have not turned in their permission slip to stay after school tomorrow for the family night, please turn it in by tomorrow!
