Battle of the Book Club
There will be a practice session today right after school in the LMC. Bring any Battle Books you have. Also if you have not returned your co-curricular form yet, you need to bring it with you.
Student Council
Our next student council meeting will be today, December 13th! We will be judging door decorations! We will see you in room 222 at 3pm if we missed you this morning. New members are welcome! The Franklin Wrestling Team
Franklin’s wrestling season is just around the corner. Wrestling practice starts January 3rd. There will be a parent meeting to follow at 5:00. Practices will be held from 2:50 through 4:30. Practice gear includes: T-shirt, shorts, and wrestling shoes. Headgear will be provided to all athletes. If you are interested in joining the team, please sign up with Mr. Dart, Mr. Huisheere, or Mr. Thomas.
Snow
Students this is a reminder that with the winter weather please make sure to keep the snow on the ground and please make sure to put jackets in your locker!
Combined Choir Rehearsals
Well, today is the big day for our choir concert. We have a few combined rehearsals scheduled today. Please pay attention to when your choir is scheduled.
Choir three, otherwise known as 8th grade choir is scheduled for combined rehearsal now, during 1st hour. If you are in choir three and not in the auditorium now please go there now.
Choir two, otherwise known as 7th grade choir will be practicing during 2nd hour on stage today. Please go there directly from 1st hour and be on time.
Choir one, also known as 6th grade choir is scheduled for rehearsal during 3rd hour today. Please go to this rehearsal directly from 2nd hour today.
All members of all choirs need to be at our combined rehearsal 7th hour today. If you sing in choir class you need to be at this rehearsal. Please come with a great attitude and your beautiful voices. The concert tonight starts at 7:00. If you are singing in the concert you need to report to the Bistro between 6:25-6:30 to check in and for warm ups. Please see Mrs. Rego with any questions that you have about the concert or its rehearsals.
Boys Basketball
Coach Calloway's 8th grade team played West Depere last night and lost. The team struggled with some things and will look to rebound and play better for our last game this Thursday vs Pulaski here at Franklin. Scoring for the Bobcats were: Jack Hemery, Kameron Eddins, Nate Meyer, and Santos Chandara. Come watch us play our last game on Thursday, here at Franklin.
Coach Danica’s basketball team beat West DePere in a close game 35-34. Throughout the whole game, the score stayed within 1-3 points. Great job by all to pull out the win!
Coach Gus’ 7th grade team had a tough match up yesterday and came up short. Scoring for the Bobcats were Andrew Hale with 12 points, Bishop Bufford with 9, Detavius Ollie with 8, and Juan Perez with 3. Come support the guys Thursday as they take on Pulaski starting at 4:00 pm.
