Holiday Grams
Holiday candy grams are for sale during lunch today! Don’t forget to stop at the table and send some to yourself or a friend! One for $.75 or 2 for $1.00.

Homework Huddle
Students do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on. Please remember, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.  

Wrestling
Were you listening to announcements last week? I hope so because here is another announcement about Wrestling. We start January 3rd and we are looking for a few good men and women to join the few, the proud, the Franklin Wrestlers.

Putty and Fidget Spinners
Students please remember, fidget spinners, putty, and or slime and are not allowed in class or in our hallways unless you have specific permission to possess those items.

Chess Club
Chess club is today in the Bistro right after school until 3:45. You do not need to know how to play chess in order to participate. Bring a friend have some fun learning how to play chess. Hot pizza will be served

Chess Tournament
The next WSCF Chess Tournament is on Saturday, January 6th, at Preble High School. Come and have fun playing chess in a tournament. See Ms. Agard in room 202 or stop by Chess Club after school in the Bistro for more information.

Ringing Bells

Are you ringing bells or interested in ringing bells this year for the Salvation Army? If you are, Franklin is participating in the 2017 Bell Ringing Challenge. Sign up to ring bells and compete against other schools to win the 2017 gold kettle. Please see the flyer on the main office window.

Girls’ Basketball
Attention 7th and 8th grade girls interested in Basketball for Franklin, there will be a meeting to get all paperwork needed to play on Wednesday right after school in the Bistro.  

Basketball
Coach Gus 7th grade boys’ team finished their season last night on a very positive note but came up a little short. Everyone played awesome. Coach Gus would like to thank the following players for making it such an amazing season: Sean Adams, Chad Brown, Tiaris Cloyd, Aiden Coronado, Riley Goodletson, Logan Hegnet, Nathaniel Lee, Marlon Padilla, Collin Rook, Jacob Sanders, Damario Torres, and Josh Pittman

The 8th grade boys’ basketball season came to an end last night against Lombardi. Both games were very close with the Bobcats coming up short. Great hustle by Avery Lehman, Caden Schunke, and great shooting from Caleb Bazzett-Jones, even without his glasses! There were improvements along the way, throughout the season, by every player and both coaches enjoyed watching everyone grow. Nice job!

Choir Rehearsal

Today 2nd hour young men’s choir has rehearsal 2nd hour, 6th grade choir rehearsal is 3rd hour and young woman’s choir has rehearsal 7th hour.
