IB Learner Profile Trait
The IB learner profile trait for April is Principled. We act with integrity and honesty, with a strong sense of fairness and justice, and with respect for the dignity and rights of people everywhere. We take responsibility for our actions and their consequences. This week, challenge yourself to act integrity and honesty in everything you do. Do you treat everyone with dignity and respect? Challenge yourself this week to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Do you take responsibility for your actions and the consequences for those actions? 

Earth Day
Today is Earth Day. Earth Day was founded by Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson and was first organized in 1970 to bring awareness to ecology and the importance of respecting life on our planet, and to bring awareness of the growing problems of air, water, and soil pollution.

GSA
Our next meeting for GSA is the Thursday, April 25th, after school in Room 110. Whether you have been to GSA before or not, come and join us in a judgment free zone for all! Please see Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Wolke with any questions.

LMC Trivia
The LMC trivia question from last week was: How many rings make up the symbol for the Olympic Games? The answer is 5. Congratulations to Meng Yang, you can come to the LMC to claim your prize!

The question for this week is: What is the two letter abbreviation for the state of Alaska?

Mary Poppins

If you are interested in supporting the Franklin Theater program, come out and see the musical Mary Poppins either this Thursday at 7:00 or Saturday at 1:00. Even though there is going to be a school presentation next week, the kids in the show would love to see you Thursday night or Saturday afternoon. Tickets are $3.00 and available from Mrs. Rego in room 180.
