Art Club
Art Club is Thursday this week from 3:00 to 4:00 in room 207. Join Ms. Gronke and Ms. Mach to make some fun projects after school and socialize with friends! You do not have to be in art to be a part of Art Club!
Board Games Club
Board Game Club is after school in room 202 tomorrow until 3:45. Bring a friend and have fun playing board games, hot pizza will be served.
Student Council
Student Council is sponsoring the last social of the year. The Spring Social will be April 27th, after school from 3-5pm. There will be games, ping-pong, sports, dancing with music from DJ Haze, concessions, and a fun time to socialize with friends. Tickets will be on sale during the lunch hours April 19-27th for $2 or 15 Bobcat bucks, don’t wait until the last minute because the price will go up to $3 or 20 Bobcat Bucks on the last day. Don’t forget you will need an ID card, they are on sale in the main office for $3.00! See you there!
Beauty and the Beast
This is the week that we have all been waiting for, the week that Beauty and the Beast goes on stage. You will be able to see the show Thursday during the day, but there are other ways that you can support your musical friends in the show. We will be presenting our show at 6:30 Thursday evening and 2:00 Saturday afternoon. You can buy tickets during your lunchtime starting tomorrow through Friday. General admission tickets are $3.00, but if you buy your tickets at lunch, you can get them for the discounted price of $2.00. The Musical had an amazing donation of three autographed Packer items to raffle off. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each, or 6 for $5 or 15 for $10. These raffle tickets will also be available at lunch. The winners will be drawn after our Saturday performance, you do not need to be present at the drawing to win. Come on out and support your classmates in the Franklin Musical Beauty and the Beast!
Visiting Authors
Have you heard? R.L. Stine and many other great authors are coming to Green Bay this weekend (April 19-22)! There are some fantastic authors speaking, writer's workshops, and many other literary events. Tickets are still available for R.L. Stine and many others. Poetry Contest
April is School Library Month and National Poetry Month, and the Library Media Center is having a Poetry Contest! Stop in the LMC for details. All entries are due Monday, April 30.
Earth Day
In honor of Earth Day, the LMC will be upcycling old t-shirts and water/soda bottles into useful items next week. Please bring any old t-shirts you no longer want, any size; plastic soda, Gatorade/PowerAde and water bottles, regular 12 or 16-ounce bottles are great. (1-liter bottles will be saved for science!); and scrap strips of material or ribbon. Students will be able to do this during study hall, resource or after school on April 23, 24 & 25.
POPS
POPS is today during lunch in room 202. Bring your lunch and enjoy POPS.
Softball
Softball practice is scheduled for Thursday April 19th in the Big Gym. Make sure you are changed and ready to begin practice at 3:00.
Track
