Bobcat Boot Camp and Summer School
This is just a reminder to turn in your sign-up sheet for Bobcat Boot Camp and Summer School in Student Services, come join the fun this summer here at Franklin. If you need a sign-up sheet, please come to the Main Office or sign up online. Sign up is due on Wednesday!

Board Games
Board Game Club is after school in room 202 this Thursday until 3:45. Bring a friend and have fun playing board games, hot pizza will be served.

Homework Huddle
Students, do you need assistance with homework? The Homework Huddle is available to you Monday-Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 150. Computers are available for you to use but you must have a pass from a teacher giving details on what you will be working on. Please remember, the electronics policy applies to Homework Huddle.  

LMC Trivia
The LMC trivia question for last week was “Who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln?” The answer is John Wilkes Booth and the winner is Brooklyn Brown, congratulations Brooklyn! Please can come to the LMC to claim your prize.

The question for this week is “Name all the states that begin with the letter A?”  

It’s National Library Week and National Poetry Month, the Library Media Center is celebrating with a poetry contest.  Each person can submit up to two poems. The poems must have your name, grade, and language arts teacher on the back of each entry. It must be an original poem and you can use any subject. There are some examples in the display case in the LMC, if you are looking for ideas. There will be nine winners and many prizes to choose from. Also in celebration of National Library Week, the LMC is having a challenge of the day. 

Student Council
Student Council is sponsoring the last social of the year. The Spring Social will be April 27th, after school from 3-5pm. There will be games, ping-pong, sports, dancing with music from DJ Haze, concessions, and a fun time to socialize with friends. Tickets will be on sale during the lunch hours April 19-27th for $2 or 15 Bobcat bucks. Don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your ticket, the price will go up to $3 or 20 Bobcat Bucks on the last day. Also, don’t forget to wear your ID, they are on sale in the main office for $3.00! See you there! 

Beauty and the Beast
This is the week that we have all been waiting for, the week that Beauty and the Beast goes on stage‼ You will be able to see the show Thursday during the day. There are also other ways that you can support your musical friends in the show. We will be presenting our show at 6:30 Thursday evening and 2:00 Saturday afternoon. If you would like to come to either of these shows, you can buy tickets during your lunchtime starting tomorrow through Friday.  General admission tickets are $3.00, but if you buy your tickets at lunch, you can get them for the discounted price of $2.00, wouldn’t your younger brothers and sisters love to come to our show? We have had an amazing donation of three autographed Packer items to raffle off.  We have an autographed photo of Randall Cobb, a Davante Adams authenticated autographed mini helmet, and a Mike Daniels authenticated autographed authentic game ball.  Raffle tickets are $1.00 each, or 6 for $5 or 15 for $10.  These raffle tickets will also be available at lunch.  Winners will be drawn after our Saturday show, and you do not need to be present at the drawing to win. Come on out and support your classmates in the Franklin Musical Beauty and the Beast!

Softball
Softball girls, please meet in the bistro at 2:50 after school today, practice will end at 4 please make arrangements for rides.

Football
Attention any 6th or 7th grader who is interested in playing football next year.  There will be a quick 10 minute meeting on Tuesday, April 17th right after school in the Bistro.  If you have any questions or cannot make the meeting, please see Mr. Calloway.
