Forward Testing
Staff and Students, please have your cell phones shut down and on airplane mode during our testing weeks. Students, please place cell phones in your lockers or you will be asked to place it in a bin in your testing room. Note no cell phones are allowed in testing area. Please be quiet while walking through the hallways as students may be testing.
Board Games Club
Board Game Club is today after school in room 202. And YES, you can play chess during board game club. Bring a friend and have fun playing games while enjoying some hot pizza.
Dance and Cheer
Attention all 8th grade girls and boys interested in trying out for West High School Dance and Cheer team are encouraged to attend try outs. The dates are: April 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 3:30 - 5:30 in the cafeteria.
IB Projects
The House of Hope is a shelter for single moms with children. For our IB project we are asking you to donate to this important community shelter. Please look in the Bistro and 3rd floor for posters we have put up that lets you know what they need. There will be a box outside of the Main Office to place your donations. A few things they are looking for are baby wipes, diapers, and new toys. Any questions, please ask Andrew Kidder, Denzel Taylor, Exzavion Shepard, or Ms. Danica. May 1st is last day you can donate!
Dakota Greaves wants to help our troops by supporting them with coupons. Military families can use the coupons on the base even if they're expired. They use them food, baby items, cleaning supplies and other household items. Please separate the coupons by food items and non-food items. There are envelopes outside of room 307, 238, and 225 for coupon collection. The drive will end April 21st. Thank you for your support.

Only manufacturer’s coupons can be used. They can be from the newspaper, dispensers in grocery stores, tear-pads, and elsewhere, as long as they state "Manufacturer's Coupon" on them. The most important coupons our military families need are for food, baby items, and household goods.

LMC Trivia
The trivia question from last week was: What is the name of Harry Potter’s pet owl? The answer is “Hedwig”. Congratulations to Judi Valentin for the correct answer. Come to the LMC to claim your prize. The question for this week is: How many years are there in a millennium?
Student Council
A reminder to all student council members, our meeting with be tomorrow before school. Remember anyone can still join! See you tomorrow at 7, in room 222.
Little Mermaid
Tickets for our school musical, The Little Mermaid Jr., will be on sale in the bistro on Tuesday and Wednesday during your lunch times. Tickets can also be purchased the evening of the performance at the door. The musical will be shown Thursday, April 20th at 6:30 pm. We hope to see you all there!
