Community Project Exhibition
Community Project Exhibition on May 9
Student works on community projectAs an International Baccalaureate School, all Franklin Middle School eighth grade students are required to research and develop a community project. Students identified a need in the community and participated in service learning to support the need. To showcase their hard work, Franklin will host a Community Project Exhibition on Tuesday, May 9 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. Examples of projects include homelessness, research on accessibility for those with physical disabilities, and more.

International Baccalaureate is an educational program that develops intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills that students need to live, learn and work in our world. Franklin is one of the only International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme schools in our area.

Following the Exhibition, Franklin performing arts classes will hold their spring concert at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Both events are free and open to the public. Franklin is located at 1233 Lore Lane.
