IB Learner Profile Trait (Open-minded)
We critically appreciate our won cultures and personal histories, as well as the values and traditions of others. Hopefully we are accepting of others points of view, and willing to grow from the experience. Are you open to hearing about others cultures and traditions that may be different than yours?

Attention all Battle of the Books Teams

Our first competition is tomorrow (Wed. Jan. 25), right after school in the LMC. We will finish by 3:45.

7th grade Book Club

Attention all 7th grade Book Club members, if you have a nook, please bring it to Mrs. Vraney ASAP so she can add our next book. If you don’t have a nook, please come to the LMC to pick up a paper copy.

CrossFit
Just a reminder that Franklin Fitness is still going on every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school from 3-3:30. We meet either in between the gyms or in the small gym/workout room. We promise 30 minutes of intense workout each time-with a lot of variations, focusing on arms, legs, core, cardio, or some combination. We have an awesome group of athletes right now, but it would be great to see even more students involved. This is the perfect opportunity to get in shape during this cold winter weather. See Mrs. Srenaski or Ms. Pasch if you are interested or just show up‼

Gay Straight Alliance Club
Come and join us, Wednesday, January 25th after school in Room 219! We are ready to plan our next GSA activity! Please see Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Gomez with any questions.

Supplies Needed
One of our IB groups is making chew toys for the Humane Society. They are in need of materials to make their toys. Preferably denim would be best but if you have anything that would be tough enough for chew toys we will take it. Please bring any old jeans or material to Room 310. Thank-you!

Troyette Clinic
Any girls interested in a Pom clinic that will perform at half time of the Girls Varsity Basketball game at Southwest High School with the Troyettes, please come to the main office to pick up a flyer.

PBIS Tardy Competition
Our PBIS Tardy competition begins today!  8th Graders focus on getting to 2nd hour on time. 7th graders your focus is 7th hour and 6th graders hustle to 4th hour. Remember, there is a sweet treat for the classes with the lowest percentage of tardies!

Attention Art Club Members

The Art Club photo for the yearbook will be taken TOMORROW Wednesday, January 25th immediately after school. Please meet Ms. Gronke and Ms. Everetts in the big gym. This should take 10-15 minutes depending the number of sports/clubs who will also be getting their pictures taken. PLEASE BE ON TIME! We will not be meeting after the yearbook photo is taken. Make sure you communicate this with your parents for transportation purposes
