IB Learner Profile Trait
The IB learner profile trait for May is Balanced. We understand the importance of balancing different aspects of our lives, intellectual, physical, and emotional, to achieve well-being for ourselves and others. We recognize our interdependence with other people and with the world in which we live. Do you balance your day with school, physical activity, friends, family and rest? Leading a balanced life is important for everyone. Challenge yourself this week to notice how much we all depend on each other and how important each person is in our lives. 

Tennis
Looking to try out a new sport? Tennis might be for you! We welcome all players of any skill level from beginners to experts. Come join in the fun on Saturday, May 18th, from 9am until 11am. The West varsity tennis coaches will be hosting a free youth clinic for anyone interested in joining the tennis program. The courts are located at Perkins park, 600 North Fisk. Grab all your friends and come give tennis a try. Snacks and Gatorade will be provided for all participants, free of charge! We will also provide rackets and balls.

Hat Day
This Friday for just 5 Bobcat Bucks, you can wear both a hat and your pajamas! So, roll out of bed and purchase a sticker from your 1st hour teacher!
